England and Scotland are steeped in religious heritage. The English Reformation led to the development of distinct Protestant denominations, including the Church of England (Episcopal), congregationalism, Methodism and Presbyterianism, just to name a few. Meanwhile, Catholicism continued to flourish there. So, here is where you go when you want to explore the roots of your denomination. Also, the U.K. is a salad bowl of religious groups, including, Judaism, Buddhism, and Islam. In fact, for the past 15 years, the most popular name for a male baby in the U.K. has been Mohammad. The point is that the U.K. is a great place to explore interfaith points of contact.
